Bedfordshire Police BikeSafe
Bedfordshire Police are pleased to offer BikeSafe workshops to Bedfordshire riders and to be supported by the Eastern Bikesafe Regional Coordinator.
The Bedfordshire Police BikeSafe team is made up of current advanced police motorcyclists, who between them have many years’ experience in the world of roads policing and advanced motorcycling. They are all volunteers and passionate about motorcycling and sign-posting riders on to appropriate post-test training.
The Bedfordshire team follow the national BikeSafe curriculum, using video, power point and other presentation media to deliver their workshops. Workshops are offered over a one day weekend session, followed by an observed ride on a weekend to try to match a customer’s needs.
Whilst BikeSafe workshops are delivered in a classroom environment, they are fun, engaging and you are encouraged to offer debate, plus to share your own riding experiences. Following your classroom workshops you will return for a 1 on 1 observed ride with an advanced police motorcyclist.
Bedfordshire BikeSafe workshops run over two days. The first day is your theory day and your second day will be your observed ride. At your theory day you will be given a time slot for your observed ride. Observed rides run from, 2 Ivel Road, Shefford SG17 5JU. Lunch is provided in the workshop costs. Pillion riders are not allowed.
