South Yorkshire BikeSafe

BikeSafe workshops are designed to give you an insight into the benefits of further rider training by providing a classroom based presentation of some of the causation factors resulting in motorcycle collisions as well as issues around the vulnerability of motorcyclists and raising awareness of potential hazards. A practical observed ride provides feedback on your motorcycling strengths and weaknesses in a number of criteria. The South Yorkshire BikeSafe team then signpost you to other agencies and organisations within South Yorkshire that are able to provide further guidance or training.

The aims of South Yorkshire BikeSafe is to encourage motorcycling enthusiasts to seek out all opportunities to improve their riding skills and personal safety thus reducing the number of casualties on our roads. We are committed to working with our partners to reduce injuries and promote Road Safety, this is an ongoing project with BikeSafe playing a major part in rider education.
