Please read: that’s your Neath Port Talbot BikeSafe workshop booked. A summary will follow by email. Please check the details and ensure that the date is in your diary. Included will be three attachments: (1) terms, (2) preparation and, (3) voucher. ‘Preparation’ is the most important. Also included is access to extra resources. These will enhance your BikeSafe ‘experience’ and boost your rider safety. The required password is in your confirmation email.
BikeSafe at Neath Port Talbot is 100% subsidised for riders who live, work, ride or study in Neath Port Talbot. For other riders it is subsidised to jut £65, but costs significantly more than this national standard price. It requires that serving police officers are diverted away from their regular duties or to support BikeSafe on a voluntary basis. We therefore ask that you don’t cause unnecessary administration by cancelling for anything less than a very good reason. We will of course abide by all relevant consumer credit, contracts and other regulations, but subject to BikeSafe terms and conditions, we issue vouchers to avoid the very significant financial and administration burdens that booking cancellation and transfer causes.
If Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council (Road Safety) has 100% subsidised your workshop, please note that provision is still subject to BikeSafe terms and conditions and available on a strict ‘one voucher per person basis’. BikeSafe reserve the right to charge up to £65 where subsidised workshops booked and then cancelled at short notice. Therefore, please let us know if you are not 100% committed to attending. Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council (Road safety) have secured limited funding for these subsidised workshop places and would prefer that no funding is wasted through cancellation. You can cancel workshop places within 14-days without penalty – otherwise we look forward to welcoming you to your BikeSafe workshop.
We deem that your BikeSafe workshop has effectively began once payment is made and confirmation has been sent. You will be given access to password protected pre-learning BikeSafe resources (videos and PDF’s) to help you prepare for your BikeSafe workshop and to understand the value of utilising BikeSafe as your ‘bridge’ to formal post-test motorcycle training.
