June North Wales update
Thought I would get the June North Wales update in on the last day of the month.
It has been another busy month for the team.
Main call out is the North Wales Police National Volunteers Week celebration event at Coleg Cambria where we managed to get most of the Team together not only to celebrate Volunteers and for an awards presentation but also to celebrate 25 Years of NWP BikeSafe. The evening was especially notable for an excellent presentation by Mark Owen MBE on the history of BikeSafe in North Wales. Also thanks to Chief Constable Amanda Blakeman KPM for attending and continuing to take time to meet and talk with the BikeSafe Volunteers.
Only one workshop is June, feels wrong saying one, but some months are like that. Sgt Meds Williams delivered the workshop at Colwyn Bay and feedback is the attendees had a great ride out in the afternoon.

If you feel up to attending a NWP workshop or know someone who would get value from attending one we have places available 19th July, then it is into the summer break until we start again in September – visit the North Wales page for full details.
Supporting the riding community in North Wales we attended A&D Motorcycles www.admotorcycles.co.uk Kawasaki demo day – pictures do not do it justice but it was busy, honestly. Also Sgt Meds Williams presented a talk about BikeSafe to Anglesey Adventure Riders.
We have more requests to talk with other MCC in North Wales which we will support and encourage anyone wanting us to come along to talk with them please reach out we do not bite.
Of course if you are not near us in North Wales there are other Forces who will welcome you to their workshops – just find the Force closest to you, however you just will have to sacrifice not getting your ride out on North Wales roads.
