Staffordshire Police ladies only event a great success
On Saturday the 6th July Staffordshire Police had there “ladies Only Event” held at the Head Quarters in Stafford. The event was organised to improve the under represented number of female riders attending Bikesafe workshops within Staffordshire. The weather was miserable in the morning but did start to brighten up for the one to one ride out assessment in the afternoon, although on the day the weather brought some challenging road conditions to say the least as the route did include rural, urban, town centres and motorways as part of our 75 mile route.
All gained something from the day
The event was fully booked with riders of all abilities turning up and rising to the challenge with all who took part gaining something from the day. All riders were given fair and constructive feedback with advice of how to improve and will receive a certificate of completion that may help to reduce insurance costs.
