National BikeSafe response to Covid-19
Cessation of National BikeSafe workshops
Following Monday’s announcement by PM Boris Johnson, with guidance on restricting non-essential travel and engagements, I have taken a national decision to suspend all BikeSafe workshops until the current health crisis has passed.
Riders already booked onto workshops will be updated via email and text. Those who are booked on imminent workshops will be contacted by phone. Given the extenuating nature of these circumstances, along with their administrative/financial implications and inline with BikeSafe terms and conditions, all riders with a ‘live’ workshop booking will be provided with a voucher and not automatically refunded. This voucher will be inflation proof and valid for 24 months. All affected riders will also be advised that in lieu of the classroom element of BikeSafe, they will in due course receive a BikeSafe e-learning resource covering essential rider safety. Our teams will then be in a position to arrange ‘observed rides’ once BikeSafe delivery begins again.
A reduced admin team are working to deal with this situation and I would appreciate it if support requests can be kept to an absolute minimum. Please check our news section for advice on the service you should expect whilst BikeSafe is on hold and please be assured that your booking fee will be 100% honoured once we are in a position to resume BikeSafe delivery.
To the Motorcycle Community: Thank you for your understanding, loyalty and continued support. We will keep you fully updated and hope national delivery of BikeSafe can soon be resumed.
