Why BikeSafe?
North Wales BikeSafe workshops are delivered by experienced police motorcyclists and supported by Police Support Volunteers, who have a wealth of riding experience and knowledge.
This isn’t about slowing you down. It’s about giving you more control.
Our team are all bikers at heart, and our workshops are as enjoyable as possible whilst giving the best opportunity for riders to improve their skills and make them get the most from their bikes whilst staying safe.
There’s no better way to improve your riding than by doing it on roads that challenge, inspire and reward you, including routes around the stunningly beautiful Eryri National Park.
You’ll learn how to:
- Improve positioning, cornering and observation
- Ride more smoothly, safely and confidently
- Improve your decision making
All in a supportive, non-judgemental environment. No pressure. Just better riding.
What to expect on the day:
09:00 – Registration
10:00 – Theory session on the 5 ‘causation factors’ and solutions
12:45 – Break (lunch not provided)
13:30 – Observed ride of approximately 60 miles
16:30 – Return and de-brief with written assessment provided
16:45 – Coordinator address and issue of safety pack

The North Wales Bikesafe workshops are subsidised by North Wales Police and the North Wales Road Safety partnerships. As such the workshops and other activity that BikeSafe provides is subject to a subsidised fee of just £78 per rider.
