Wiltshire BikeSafe season gets off to a flying start
Wiltshire’s first BikeSafe workshop of the season was held on Sunday 8 March, kindly hosted at Devizes Fire Station by Wiltshire Police’s road safety partner, Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.
John Hutchings, Wiltshire’s BikeSafe lead, said: “It was a packed agenda, with sixteen bikes and bikers attending the full day workshop for a classroom input on Motorcycle Roadcraft.
“This was followed by an Observed Ride with an Advanced rider from Wiltshire Police, who were assisted by Advanced Observers and Tutors from IAMRS or RoSPA, with both verbal and written feedback on the rides subsequently being provided.
“Our remaining dates for this year are filling up fast, with the next four workshops already full, but there are still spaces available across the summer and later in the year, so book now to avoid disappointment.”
