Phased plan to resume BikeSafe workshop delivery
Our admin team remains on other essential duties. They will be fully up and running again from 1st September and in the meantime, your support in keeping enquiries to a minimum is appreciated and making a real difference.
Resumption will be phased on a Force-by-Force basis
I can advise that there is now a phased plan to resume workshop delivery. This will be significantly governed by regional Covid-19 restrictions and the impact these restrictions have on our ability to safely resource workshops. Resumption will therefore be phased on a Force-by-Force basis and you will be advised in a timely way regarding the specifics of workshop delivery in your area.
Where regional restrictions permit, BikeSafe will be allowed to resume from 1st September. The only earlier exception to this will be The Metropolitan Police Service, who will resume in a limited capacity from 7th August.
We will prioritise workshop availability to those who have been affected by the Covid-19 lockdown, but in all cases, it remains our priority to protect both the public and our teams.
Next week we will send you your electronic voucher. This will be inflation proof i.e. protected from future price increases and will be valid for 24 months. From Friday 7th August, our diaries will begin to open on a phased Force-by-Force basis – with priority given to Covid-19 affected bookings from earlier in the year.
We will keep you well informed and email you in a timely manner regarding your ‘on-hold’ workshop and with respect to the specifics of workshop availability in your area.
Please trust that we will do this as promised and I ask that you continue to keep support requests to a minimum during these challenging times.
One motorcyclist to another – thank you for your understanding, support and for staying safe on two wheels. We look forward to welcoming you back to BikeSafe soon.
To your safety and to…
Bridging the gap to a more skillful ride.
